"We were advised to visit this restaurant on a recent holiday to the Dordogne and although it was a bit off the beaten track, it was best night of the holiday and will be remembered by us for a very long time. They had donkey's in the field for the baby to pet, a rabbit and some rescued greyhound dogs so the baby with us was entertained. The food was second to none and the owner's hospitality unriveled. We stayed outside under a canopy until the meal was over and were then invited into the room to hear the owner play blues on the keyboard and harmonica. He was an exceptionally good muscian and an even better chef! His wife was a delight and as our French was not so good, he spoke to us in perfectly good English. If you are nearby then you should make this a place to visit and eat.Oh and it was so reasonable too."

"I ask for a non-alcoholic cocktail and I am served a cocktail with RUM syrup!!! So with a strong taste of alcohol. When I point this out to the lady she attacks me by telling me that there is no alcohol in it that it is syrup. If I ask for alcohol-free it’s because I DON’T want the taste. I always have mocktails, this has never happened to me. In short, the employee (or the owner, I don’t know) was very unpleasant. Food: 1"

"This is a real gem. The food is delicious and excellent value. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. I visited at the new year with friends and we had an delicious lunch.
