Went for a visit of the Auberive Abbey and fortunately it was closed. I say fortunately because if it was open we would have not visited this excellent restaurant, located opposite the car park for the entrance to the abbey. The restaurant is run by a delightful lady who could not speak a word of English. The menu was also in French. Alas our French is not what it should be!! We chose the three course meal of the day... Opposite the abbey, you will find the Tilleuls restaurant. Warm welcome, careful family cooking, low prices! Here, everything is homemade. A treat!!
If you decide to eat here, be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait. In the meantime, you can study the menu, considering however, the most appealing food on it...
