"One of the best meals I’ve had in Johannesburg in a long time. We had a lovely time and the poached pear and pumpkin pie desserts were just delicious to end our fantastic meal off with. "T&T is one of the most consistent steak houses I’ve been too. I’m not sure if they are a franchise or if the brothers own them all but they deliver every time. Come week end it’s very busy and you must book to get a decent table-especially in winter! The steaks are cooked to perfection and the chips are excellently cut and nice and hot when they arrive at your table. The secret gem here is the Argentinian spiral cut steak with chimichurri topping! I can’t really explain how the flavor pops in your mouth with each bite! The service is good and the waiters are very attentive. If you don’t like loud restaurants I suggest going for lunch as the energy is much more relaxed"

"If I had to choose what my last meal on earth would be, it would be pizza from La Piovra. I have never tasted pizza so incredible. My partner and I are there basically every week. Really friendly staff too! The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because the lighting in there is WAY too bright. It needs yellow light not white light. It’s very uncomfortable for the eyes and I’ve witnessed a few people complaining to the staff about it during all the times I’ve been there. Please can something be done? We love sitting down and eating but after an hour we just can’t do the bright lighting anymore."
