"The best jumbo shrimp I have ever eaten. They are better than the shrimp down at Gulf Shores. Hushpuppies were incredible! The sweet tea was addictive. I will be back."

"To say this is the best smoked brisket in Michigan would not be far fetch. Serious grub and the sauce was awesome. Definitely hitting them up every time I drive by battle creek, which might become more often now! Thanks for the great service and delicious food."

"Very cute spot, and dog friendly outdoor seating! We weren't a fan of their blonde or amber ales, but their ciders were fantastic!"

"Pure Mex serves delicious food that is beautifully presented. As previously posted pictures show, the restaurant has colorful and vibrant decor, as well. The service has been excellent on every visit! We had a great dinner last night, but for the unexpected peas and carrots in the rice. Perhaps the cook formerly worked in an Asian restaurant? Unfortunately, not a good addition; fortunately, it didn't take away from the fresh flavor of my enchiladas!Vegetarian options: There is a good variety of vegetarian options, some of which can be made vegan."
