Maryland Fried Chicken - Augusta

The food was great and hot from the grill. We had shrimp, Hush puppies and sweet potatoes. No complaints. the people were nice and friendly.

Asked for mixed chicken, everyone got dark.. Coleslaw tasted old, and asked for ketchup and percussion sauce, the employee said it was in the bag, it wasn't... As if they were prejudices, because 4 other people who came after us received orders in front of us. Very unprofessional... And there were chickens on the stand all the time while we waited

Chicken was as usual, service was great, staff was pleasant. Just reason for not getting a 5 is bc I ordered a 9 piece and got 8 (missing a chest) ordered green beans and got cabbage. Also the individual size was $3 and it was served in a container for a spice (yes that small lol size is not the problem of price)! Nice to see them still busy! I probably didn't have MD chickens in 20 years and still the same as I remember! Are they out early? I appreciate things being fresh every day?

I've been coming here since the 80s. It's a small town favorite. It's in the hood but the staff is very kind and the food is always good. Every time I come home, I try make it here and it never disappoints. There is no inside dining so get your chicken and go. You'll love it.
