Excellent roasted chicken, onions and okra. The meal and the wonderful memories of the food at WifeSaver enjoyed. We hadn't visited WifeSaver since the 1970s when we moved. Very happy to visit again WifeSaver, enjoyed simple, tasteful, well prepared food at a reasonable price. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon. read more.

What User doesn't like about The Wife Saver:
For this place to always have a line, you 'd think the food is incredible. Sorry but the mac n cheese tastes like cheesy eggs, rice is always undercooked, the pot roast is suspicious and the pork chops are actually breaded tenderloin chops. I just think the people who actually enjoy this place, can 't cook themselves or never had REAL soul food. Just because a black cook made it doesn 't mean it 's a Soul Food restau... read more.
