Augusta is abysmal for vegan options. in general I advise people to look elsewhere. the breakfast is cool, and vegans also need it. when they come here, they are not filled with choice or creativity. there are a few options for the breakfast bagels, and a few wrap options you can tweak. for someone who works early in the morning or when they go out with others, they can get them a simple tofutti bagel and a coffee. What User doesn't like about Bagel Mainea:
Just okay. I was super excited to try this place because bagels are one of my favorite foods! I’ve been here multiple times and each time I have been disappointed. The bagels lack flavor (I’ve tried everything and super onion) and the cream cheese is bland. The staff is rude and seems annoyed that you are ordering food. I wanted SO badly to like this place, but it’s been a disappointment. View all feedback.
He was here after visiting a wedding in Augusta. I was looking for a breakfast option because Augusta has few worthy options. Came in and made a simple order of egg and cheese on a roasted onion bag. Bagel was delicious, but the wait was over 15 minutes. I recommend calling forward if you want something fast and fast. Eating is good here, so I recommend you try this place if you are ever in Augusta.
Bagel Mainea is undoubtedly the top bagel spot in Maine! Whenever we pass through the area, we always make sure to stop by. They offer a wide selection of menu options with endless combinations to create the perfect bagel. The staff is welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. This place is a definite must-visit for bagel lovers!
Bagel Mainea in Augusta is a well-known establishment that has recently changed ownership. The new owners have kept the popular menu and are doing their best to maintain the quality, despite some challenges. There may be a slight wait for service due to the turnover in staff, but it is worth being patient. The bagels are delicious and the Boars Head deli meats and cheeses are a standout feature. The menu is extensive, with options to customize your order with various toppings, drinks, and chips.
As a native New Yorker, I was ready to drive over and an hour to taste these bagels. Only disappointment was the choice. But hey, I arrived at the end of the day. Poppy and salt bags fit the bill and were so close to home LI), which I had in New England.
I absolutely love this restaurant! They serve delicious food, including unique bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. I enjoy working here on weekends because the food is that good. Come on in and try one of our tasty specialties, and don't forget to bring some home for your family too! You can find me here on Saturdays and Sundays until 2 pm.
