"We visited during a cruise that stopped in flam. this pub is only a few steps away from the cruise port. the decor is fantastic, with fur sausage, consecrated, candles and an amazing central feature kamin. there is a very Nordic experience as...Result as this is a beer pub, there are some great selection of beer. they can buy a board with 5 different flavors beer on it, and this seemed to be the most popular drink that was bought with us. the prices are on the expensive side, but not in agreement with the trips for alcohol in norway in general. this place is definitely worth a visit."

"What an amazing experience we had there. This Viking village is a wonderful place Fjord giving you a great idea how life as a Viking would be back in the days. You have free tours in different languages where guides give you about the Vikings, and it was very informative (plus our guide was really entertaining with his explanations). In addition to the tour you are free to walk the village where there are activities that you (architecture and axe throw) and things you can buy. The small shop at the entrance has a lot to buy. I would definitely recommend it!"

"I contacted Cafe Rallaren regarding bike hire as we were coming to Flåm on a cruise. We wanted something a little different than just going up and down on the train. This was the perfect answer! They were very responsive to the emails I sent and the numerous questions I asked and booking was easy. Collection was a simple process, bikes were in great condition and they provide helmets. They get you to check the breaks, believe me you been them!! The 21 km ride down was breathtakingly beautiful we stopped every couple 100 metres to just take all the scenery which would not have been been possible going back on the train. The first bit is steep and switchbacks tight but I managed it! You can walk the initial steep bit so don't let it put you off. Drop off is easy the is a sign by the station in Flåm where to leave them. A fabulous memorable day."
