Mi-Ne Japanese Restaurant - Aurora

This is not an AYCE which adds value to me. Since I don't feel like stroking my myself with too much food in one meal, quality becomes more important. Mi-me has definitely provided the quality I want. The set up of the restaurant is lovely and friendly waiters/waitresses enhances the experience. I've been here two times now and it was pretty consistent. The flaming Viking roll was something unique and you've gotta try (it's spicy)

Our family has been enjoying Mi Ne Sushi for several years and they never fail to deliver a nice experience. I recommend their sashimi, seaweed salad, noodle dishes, wide assortment of hand rolls, and tempuras dishes. I like seeing their sushi chefs working out in the open. Our only challenge is to keep from ordering too much -- the menu is very tempting. I recommend making reservations for one of their booths for a more intimate experience, although the tables in the open area for just fine. The service is always fast and friendly. Yesterday our family of four was in and out of Mi Ne within about 45 minutes for a full dinner, and we didn't feel rushed at all. Easily the best sushi restaurant we have experienced in Aurora / Newmarket, and on a par with the best of Markham.

Mi NE is a very authentic Japanese restaurant. The sashimi is some of the best we have had in Canada. The Orangeville roll is a must have. They also have a wide range of sake.The lunchtime specials are exceĺlentitled value.

My son is the one who first discovered this great restaurant. Now, our whole family enjoys dining in and take-out on several occasions. The food is fresh and prepared in a gourmet way. You can tell they care about their presentation. The service is also wonderful. The staff is very attentive. I really like the decor from the minute you walk into the restaurant with the traditional Japanese sliding door to the booths with curtains. Very nice touches for privacy and elegance. The food is very delicious. I highly recommend Mi-Ne to anyone!

This is our favourite Japanese restaurant north of Toronto. The food is always excellent and beautifully presented. Fish and seafood very fresh. Lots of wonderful choices - Mushroom Soup is the best I have ever had as is the Sashimi Salad. Service has always been excellent but has fallen off in the last few months. Perhaps they are increasingly busy with eat-in and take-out and not staffed to handle. Front end is slow - once you order, food arrival is very timely and consistently excellent!
