"Our first time eating here for our anniversary. We had been wanting to try different foods in the local area and oh my goodness did this place not disappoint.The seasoning was on point, the food was fresh, the service was awesome. Overall a hidden gem in the local St Charles area. I’ve been raving to all my friends about it!"

"Very nice interior seating, good vibe, friendly staff, and good food. I had the BBQ Tacos (brisket) and they were nice. They aren’t served with too much sauce, which I like, so I could dial in the amount of sauce I wanted to add along with the spicy green salsa that is also provided on the side. Tacos come with two tortillas each, so you can split the 3 tacos into 6 if you would like to make them less full."

"If you are in a group and they want to dine at Hardware, at least there is something for you. The quinoa salad is vegan (ask for no onion unless you like very large pieces of red onion in your salad). Also there is a vegan risotto. Local people who are familiar with Feed My Starving Children will recognize the flavor and texture. The flavor of the vegan risotto is good but it tastes like a large bowl of MannaPack from Feed My Starving Children, with mushrooms and large sliced carrots added. Every single bite is the same throughout, which gets a little boring after about the 5th bite. But it will keep you from starving, my child. There is also no vegan dessert which is becoming a pet peeve of mine. Why offer a vegan menu item but not have a vegan dessert? That is not the greatest business model since anyone could enjoy a vegan dessert, animal-eaters and vegans alike. Updated from previous review on 2019-11-05"

"From the reception at the door to the moment we left, the staff at Basils made my birthday experience incredible. Personalized menu, exceptional service, and the food and drink were, without a doubt, as close to my YiaYia's table as could be. Genuine and savory Greek dining at its finest. I may live hours from this restaurant, but I will absolutely make the time to come here as often as possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything! I could not have asked for better. 10 stars!"

"Very clean, helpful staff and great food. Makes for a fun afternoon. A little more expensive than other fast food places but well worth it. My grand babies are 2 and 5. At Chick-Gil-A they always finish their food and love the play area. I look forward to many more trips."

"I'll give two stars because we're eating and our steak were decent once it got right. the medium we finally asked for was after the 3rd attempt. other than that, after 2.5 hours here for a family dinner with children I could not run out of this joint fast enough, literally. as if I had paid the bill and fed it. to begin, there were haare on our plate, to which the staff seems very unchalant about it. then, the steak we asked as a medium came so rare that it moo 'ed. they took it back, nudized it and served the same piece that we had cut into 3 pieces when we tried to show them that it was rare. then the same 3 pieces came out again like all different temperatures: one was well done, one was medium, and one was still raw. omg. of course not seen properly, and we sent back again. we were asked if we wanted to get a new 12 Oz piece. at this time everyone except my husband had to eat. the poor guy finally, when he got his meat, the pommes were missing and they had to get it back. we were about 10 o'clock so we wanted to finish our escape. then the walk past every room that it was through the kitchen has this terrible canal stench. I felt dirty when I came by. everywhere, the bathroom, the floor on the dining areas were dirty with müll and rubbish. the air quality was so bad that my oldest child kept coughing through allergy. it is only not a good place for children with a sensitive breathing system. we went on a Saturday night at 8 o'clock and that was waiting 30 minutes. it took another hour before the food came and until then it was 9:30. we didn't order any appetizers so they didn't have to do it first and it still took forever. Interestingly, they have the opportunity to pay their jack on their phone, but apparently our sperm knew nothing about it. I just wonder how the people who work there did not know about the option for mobile payment when it was on the entrance. Anyway, it didn't work when we tried to pay on our phones and had to make the payment on pos new. the end of the story is that once is enough. we are not going back to this place. bloomingdale location is better off what I remember, and I pray it won't be that terrible of an experience when we ever go back."

"I was here a handful of times, and every time I visited, they were not only so welcoming and friendly, but their espresso drinks, cold brews and tees were always impeccable. they were a few times with my two young (1 yr and 4 yrs), and they were also very family-friendly. highly recommended if they are looking not only for a great drink, but an even better atmosphere."
