"I’m sure the place is great but it’s closed til August 24th for vacation. I will be nice and give 3 stars. Looks like a cute place!However we drove all the way from Schaumburg as they have great ratings and good menu unfortunately they had a sign taped up on the door saying they are on vacation until August 24th! I wish they would have posted this on their Yelp and google maps site (updated hours).Waste of time and gas!"

"If you are in a group and they want to dine at Hardware, at least there is something for you. The quinoa salad is vegan (ask for no onion unless you like very large pieces of red onion in your salad). Also there is a vegan risotto. Local people who are familiar with Feed My Starving Children will recognize the flavor and texture. The flavor of the vegan risotto is good but it tastes like a large bowl of MannaPack from Feed My Starving Children, with mushrooms and large sliced carrots added. Every single bite is the same throughout, which gets a little boring after about the 5th bite. But it will keep you from starving, my child. There is also no vegan dessert which is becoming a pet peeve of mine. Why offer a vegan menu item but not have a vegan dessert? That is not the greatest business model since anyone could enjoy a vegan dessert, animal-eaters and vegans alike. Updated from previous review on 2019-11-05"

"We enjoy going there. The staff always remembers you and are quite friendly. They are one of the original Mexican Quisine Restaurants here in aurora and the don't overload you with Mariachis individuals making fresh guacamole at your table. There just seems to me that those restaurants that do that expect tops and extra income. No here at La Cabana. I found that I enjoy the steak tostadoes and they know just how I like it. The WIFEY orders a combo platter but changes one item and they always hook her up. It's more of a family type eatery and IMO they have the best steak in town. Try a steak tostada light on the lettuce with extra cheese. I'm aure you will love it. The menu is fabulous and lastly. The endless chips n salsa out of the gates has got it going on. Enjoy your visit or not. Only place I'll eat Mexican in A town."

"We love the Patio. It's usually our go to on Sundays. My daughter and I can share the Chicken Oreganato and be completely satisfied! The one manager has started to recognize us, and he is super friendly! Fairly priced for the amount of food you get, and easy to fill up with the amount of food! Highly recommend!"

"First time visiting here, and I can say that it was really good! Their goal is to help end child vulnerability overseas, and that is reflected in their menu and overall atmosphere. This place has eating areas both on the main level and in the basement, which is fun. Service was quick, and I had a delicious pork sandwich and chocolate shake. Overall, a great local spot for coffee and a bite to eat."
