"Went for brunch with a close friend. It was her first time visiting my house on Cayuga Lake and I wanted to treat her to great meal. Our table looked out onto the lake and our server Alex was wonderful. The food was delicious!"

"Really cute and good deli! I had half a Reuben, which was as big as a whole sandwich. Corned beef was tender and tasty. My husband had a special panini with grilled cheese and bacon that he loved. Nice staff. Good drink select."

"Store was awesome. Very good selection. Definitely recommend for a tourist stop as well as a home town place. Got some goodies I'll post. The mint brownie was awesome. Bought a huge donut for my wife, her favorite. All sorts of different ciders and nut butters!"

"Wonderful little place right in the heart of downtown! Prices are GREAT and I will be returning! I personally ordered pork fried rice and it was delicious! I'm really picky about my rice. My boyfriend ordered a chicken combo and it came with an egg roll and I loved it! Normally I just throw them away because I don't like them but I ate every last bite of it! I would recommend to anyone interested in good food with little wait time and low prices!"

"What a disappointment! We were in the area for a concert and to check out some wineries. We needed a place for dinner and the reviews for 84 Fall were very good. They had higher end, tapas with fresh and seasonal ingredients. This seemed to be perfect for us. To start the hostess was very rude. It was busy and the place was packed. We asked how long for a table inside. She seemed annoyed with the question and said if we wanted to eat there our only option was outside. This isn?t usually an issue for us but it was about to pour. The awnings on the sidewalks didn't really cover the tables but we decided to try and eat quick. We took the table and saw she seated any other party that came in about 10 mins later. No one else was turned away, had to wait or eat outside. I also don?t think she told the other staff that she seated anyone out there because it took forever to be acknowledged and order. The server was surprised to see people at the table. Once the server knew we were there she did her best to be accommodating until it started raining. We tried to not let this spoil our meal. We hoped the food would make us for these other inconveniences. For drinks we had the rose?, very good, and the apple mule, not so good, was missing the muddled apples so this tasted like pucker. To start we had the orange sesame crispy cauliflower. It was delicious, perfect crispy breading that didn?t get soggy from the sauce. The sauce was just sweet enough and covered up the cauliflower flavor which delighted my significant other. It was by far the best dish of the night. Next was the Korean street tacos with steak. This left us confused. There was nothing Korean on the plate. The meat wasn't marinated and didn't utilize salt and pepper. the pico was also tasteless and the taco shells were mostly full of tomatoes. We didn't even attempt to finish them after a few bites. Also worth noting at this point its started to rain and 10 mins later started to downpour. We were never given salt and pepper and our server had kind of forgotten about us. The final course had a lot of promise and used high quality ingredients. Sad to say there was a huge seasoning issue again. The scallops were fresh and big. They should have been seared more, on both sides, and needed salt. The risotto was a good texture, there was a good amount of crab and the flavors went together well. But this was also missing basic seasoning. We asked for the check and were offered to be moved inside. We were soaking wet, it was a little too late. I am not sure if they had a bad night. We were upset that our meal and experience didn't match the other great reviews."

"The wife and I went for a wine and food pairing. The wine was Heron Hill and the food was not off the Deerhead 's usual menu. Both were excellent. (Not to say the regular menu isn 't yummy also) Definitely a restaurant I would like to frequent more often. The wife and I have been going to brunch at the Deerhead every Sunday for weeks now. We only have 2 more items to try on the menu. It 's been great fun with our server Amanda, being 'regular ' customers for a month or so. The menu is really good with all the selections being delicious and well put together. It feels good patronising the Deerhead, because it is one of the best local restaurants. Or maybe it 's just the Mimosas talking, which are pretty strong, thank you very much."
