What David Myers doesn't like about Melanie's Family:
Ordered breakfast. I had 2 eggs over easy, home fries bacon and toast. Everything was over cooked, eggs were scorched and fried hard. Toast was very hard, home fries wre very dry, not fresh. My wife had country fried steak, and Everything she had was also over cooked and hard. I definitely will not recommend this place and will never return. my wife and I visited melanie’s family restaurant for dinner and lunch the following day during a weekend in eglon west virginia. the service was excellent, the personal was fantastic, and the food was delicious! quite a small jewel in the wild that sits right in front of the entrance to the domstate park. we recommend melanie’s to anyone who visits in this opposite View all feedback.

This is the restaurant Cracker Barrel wants to be. Get the roast beef and mashed potatoes! And any kind of pie. Worth the drive from anywhere.
