Red Lobster - Aurora

Very nice place. Our server was very polite and attentive but not intrusive. We ordered the Wednesday specials and it was delicious. It didn't feel it was a chain restaurant but kind of an escape from COVID and feel normal again. The staff wears masks!!! Thank you.

This was my first Red Lobster experience! Much to choose! It was great! The staff was friendly. Our server was amazing, understandable and fast. Our food was delicious! We ordered salads, cookies (so delicious) and several main dishes. We loved everything we ordered, and the drinks were very delicious. All meals at the table were delicious and pleasant. Food was great. Server was great. However there were 18 of us and our group gets together once a month. It was set up that there would be separate checks. At the end we were given one of those little table computer things with all 18 people's charges on it. One computer for all of us. It took forever. We are a group of seniors and expected a paper check for each of us. Someone wanted to pay cash others wanted to charge it. Personally, I felt grateful that I was one of the first ones that could check out. They had to put tables together for us so they should have maybe had one of those computers for each of the tables they put together. But what they should have done is done a single check for each of us to start with. Pretty sure our group won't return.

We frequent this location often, and I really enjoy the wait staff. We have usually have Jason (who my kids just adore! but last night, we had Brittany. She was wonderful. Our food was super quick, hot, fresh and really good. She helped us get a to go order to bring home for someone, and the overall experience was wonderful.

You know growing up Red Lobster was a treat, it was a nicer place to go with the family. Now, it's like Red Robin, or On the Border. The service was fine, nothing special. The appetizers we good. They have always done that well, but the dinner was so, so. Nothing special, nothing that stands out. The Scallops were cooked perfectly, but there was no flavor. Not spice or Scallop taste. The baby lobster tail was ok. Once again, cooked perfectly but just bland. It's a shame. The fried shrimp tasted like they came from the freezer, but the highlight was the satiated garlic butter shrimp. It is what it is.
