I should start with... I love Winchell's. On this particular visit, I went with a business proposal for the owner. It's not that he decided not to do business with me but that he (employee and the owners soon I believe) was flat out rude, dismissive, and actually rolled his eye at me when i had to flag him down to order a dozen donuts. Not a halal place. They say just say Bismilah and eat. I highly recommend not to eat any non veg here if you are looking to for halal place.
They are always incredibly nice and welcoming. The donuts are always soft and they have great breakfast burritos.
