The food at this restaurant is fantastic, although it can be a bit expensive. However, the quality of the food and the excellent customer service make it worth it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also wonderful. View all feedback.
What Derek M doesn't like about Clay Pit:
I met up with a friend for lunch and had a great meal at Clay Pit. It had been a while since I had last visited, but I used to love the place. I was pleasantly surprised to find that... View all feedback.
Food was delicious. Quality and quantity was good, with a decent ambience and decent pricing! We got the kofta korma and the Ayam curry loved them both. The dahi puri was good too.Their bathroom was NASTY like literally with soiled sanitary pads and that was the biggest put off. A restaurant should have clean and hygienic bathrooms. And hence the 4 stars!
We love Indian cuisine and enjoy tasting different places. the restaurant was quite spacious with many seating. the service was fast and the food was fresh and full of taste. we tried various dishes and enjoyed them all. the samosas were very delicious. the garlic naan was also lovely. we will recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.
Great date night ambiente. we sat at the bar, because we had no reservations ( wait was long for a table without them) and ordered appetizers that went great! I am lactose intolerant and I was symptom-free with their vegan appetizers so that was great. this time we had these vegan appetizers: vegetable juices, Batata-Cam, Madras soup, vegetables, cured hummus with roti. her hummus is a part of the best hummus I had. it has a certain taste and thick that makes it really good (not sure what the taste is, extra cherry the flavor in the hummus make it really extra. monica loved the samosas, and we both loved to dive them in the madrass suppe. it was nice that they could bring us separate bowls for the suppe. that was our favorite combination. the chutneys were also interesting. I wonder if they're in their tamarind cutney? the pakoras were our least preferred. they tasted pale and were soft. monica didn't love the crunchy.
I was here with my (Indian) family. eating was authentic and so, so tasteful! amazing! if they love spicy food, it will definitely meet their standards (but they can also get mild options.) we ordered the mirch masala, tandoori chicken tukde and malai kofta, and they were all great! the mango leti was also super creamy and sweet. service was also incredible; the waiter was very friendly and gave us a look at the best dishes. highly recommended.
Good Indian food. Lot of space inside. Outside sitting also available. Drinks are also available. Good service, courteous staff, clean environment. Public parking nearby. Advance booking should be done before visiting otherwise one need to wait.
