Delicious!!! A variety of great food and desserts!! The seating is a little uncomfortable due to not having full booths but we made it work at the bar section. Is a little too bright in the main room for us. A great place to go and have a good meal with family and friends. View all feedback.
HUGE portion sizes. My boyfriend and I barely put a dent in it. Same owners as Cheesecake Factory, which is pretty cool. Great food, great atmosphere. Very cool decor, and no wait time at a 8p on a Tuesday, which can’t be said for other restaurants at the Domain. Will definitely visit again. The regatoni was a little greasier than desirable, but still good!
Upon arrival this building was gorgeous! Valet had just shut down, no big deal, parking was close by. Wait time on a busy Saturday evening at 945P was about 20 minutes, not bad at all. My party I entertained ourselves. Our hostesses was very polite, as was our waiter. Our waiter, Johnny, was very attentive and suggested we order a larger fried calamari to start. Good idea on Johnny's part, that app lasted but minutes! I ordered a large bowl of Pasta Pomodoro, and it was cooked perfectly! My son ordered the short rib ravioli, but had under cooked pasta. He was unhappy with the texture of the pasta, and went to speak to a manager. The manager was one of the most polite managers I have ever met, and replaced his dish on the spot. He went with fried fish tacos, fries we closed the out with a biegnets molten chocolate cake.
I love the Grand Lux Cafe! They have a great gluten feee selection. The patio is dog friendly and the waitress brought our Corgi a bowl of water and we did not even ask. The food is great! It is a very nice upscale place! They have the best salad I have ever eaten. Desserts are amazing! The staff is very nice as well.
I visit this restaurant at least once a month and always try something different each time. The food has consistently been delicious. They prepare many fresh items right on the premises. The prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for a date or just to treat yourself. I'm consistently impressed by the waitstaff; they are always knowledgeable and friendly. The beignets are nearly as good as what you'd find in New Orleans—they're made to order and take about 30 minutes, so it's best to order them at the beginning of your meal. I keep returning and always recommend it to others.
They don’t take reservations, but the restaurant is quite spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles for brunch; the portions are massive and delicious. The Pot Roast Cheese Fries are also generous, with tender meat, but my absolute favorite has to be the double stuffed potato spring rolls—imagine mashed potatoes in egg roll form. They are incredibly tasty and might not be the healthiest choice, but they are definitely worth trying. On the other hand, I wasn’t particularly impressed with the French dip sandwich. The pastas and fish and chips are good, but I found the salad portions excessive and the Southwestern salad to be overwhelming with too many ingredients and not enough greens. When it comes to dessert, that’s where this place really shines. The strawberry shortcake is fantastic, as is the butter cake. I would happily return just for the desserts. Overall, I enjoy the appetizers and desserts the most during my visits, but I haven't yet found a lunch or dinner entrée that matches the quality of the other dishes.
