What a cool place. Not much parking, like no one. But from the inside his really cool, comfortable and fun. Has a pub, hangout feeling. Burgers are really good and they run specials. Give him a shot. It's Austin iconic. View all feedback.

It'll be a short time. I have no idea why this place has high reviews or good comments, the only thing I can say is that the waiter and the kitchen have to have the D team staff. The burger was simply not good, on the dry side and without taste. Maybe that's why they have all burger topping combos to make for a bad patty. Too bad, it's a cool building in a great location. I love Huts Hamburger. It's a classic restaurant here in Austin. They've been there for a long time and for a good reason. Their burgers are delicious, and they are known for their famous humble onion rings. You can never go wrong when you eat here.
Hut. The original, the iconic, an Austin-Institution. Much on the menu, but it's about the hamburgers. 20 different possibilities. Don't miss the number 20 Burger, the classic. The fries are also great. They say the chicken fried steak is great, but can never NOT have the burger. Funky Austin weird decor. It must stop when you come to Austin. Don't miss it. If you want health food, you can go to Whole Foods. It's about good food
Really a great old style burger restaurant. The Beef is just a perfect quality. Service is nice and the Dessert was delicious. Hopefully it will not close in the next 1,5 years or move to another place. Continue to make history ....
An Austin tradition that you have to try. Gigantic onion rings and burgers cooked to perfection. Had the Big Bopper and topped it with chili. Nice 50's diner feel and very casual.
Over all experience was very pleasant. Our server was great, kind, and helped us when our order (style of bread with small seeds) didn't agree with my wife's food allergy. No roll of the eyes or attitude, just took it away with an upbeat attitude and within minutes the order was fixed. This was certainly A+ service. Burgers were great with many choices of meat, toppings, and the Wednesday buy one get one deal. Can't beat that. Fries are flavorful and onion rings are crispy and huge! My only thing would be parking but we got a spot right at the front so I can't complain. Even so, parking is available all around and the area is nice for sights and clean. The restaurant is on the small size and feels homely which matches the friendly service. It looked a bit busy buy we had absolutely no wait time and we're immediately seated. We've been coming for years and that will continue for many more!
