Great food and great staff.. quick service and amazing flavors, we tried the foccaia bread that was complementary, tried margarita pizza garlic bread for starters. For main we got the grilled chicken Panini, mushrooms and peas Alfredo , minestrone soup some penne pasta with veggies. Everything was in point and recommended. View all feedback.
Absolutely love this place! The best Italian food I’ve had since being in Austin!! I’ll be back tomorrow to try different menu items!Food: 5/5
Mandola's Italian Kitchen left me with a mixed experience during my recent visit. I had heard great things about this place from a friend who even entrusted them to cater her wedding, so my expectations were high. The 10-minute wait for a table for 7 was reasonable, considering the popularity of the restaurant. The food, undoubtedly, was the highlight of the evening. The Scampi special and the Carnivore Pizza were both delectable, and my taste buds were thoroughly satisfied. The flavors were authentic and truly captured the essence of Italian cuisine. However, I found the order placement process to be a bit inconvenient. Having to stand in line, place the order at the register, and pay upfront before being served disrupted the dining experience. Additionally, the idea of tipping before experiencing the service seemed odd and out of place. The absence of table service was another aspect that disappointed me. Having to fetch my own drinks, silverware, and to-go boxes took away from the overall dining experience. Furthermore, I felt rushed towards the end of the meal when the staff began clearing the table while we were still engaged in conversation. In conclusion, Mandola's Italian Kitchen offers delicious food and a friendly ambiance, but the ordering process, lack of table service, and feeling of being rushed were drawbacks that impacted the overall experience. While the flavors were exceptional, these factors left me with a slightly underwhelming impression. Nonetheless, I can understand why it's a popular choice for catering events like my friend's upcoming wedding, and I believe it has the potential to be a truly outstanding dining destination with some improvements in their service approach.
Excellent Italian restaurant, attended by Luccia Gabrielle, a beautiful person who is aware that all the time in the test is spectacular and that you do not lack anything, him. ice cream guy, fantastic, the girl with the foccacias is very cute, if you want more focaccia just ask her, divine Italian food, I'm transported from mine nonna, they sell olive oil made by them, just like the ice creams, the balsamic vinegar, the pasta made by them, the shrimp scampi ? Mamma Mia, I would definitely return without thinking every time I come to visit Austin 100% recommended, molti Grazie per tutti ??????
Love their food! They have very quick service too : and they are very happy to make modifications to their menu to suit any dietary restrictions.Food: 5/5
The Italian restaurant is a completely different atmosphere than any other. Here at this restaurant you grab a menu on the side of the wine bar and stand in line to order. Yes stand in line to order. Once you order your food they give you a number to put on your table. If you get there with a couple of people it’s best to have them go find a table , because it’s first come first serve. They will bring you your food to your table, and their service is fast. They have gelato, pastries , and more, they have draft beers , and more. I recommend. Mind you I did drive from San Antonio to Austin. Very reasonable
