Pok-E-Jo's was and is still my place for BBQ when I'm in the office. It is definitely great to be back to the restaurant after all the months of work from home. For this visit I ordered 2-meat combo with brisket and pork ribs. The brisket is absolutely delicious (soft and delicate) and its pork ribs are also fabulous with meat falling from the bone easy. Good grill. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket, beef sausage, broccoli salad and pinto beans. The brisket was delicate and a good cut that had the charred bark with good smokey taste. The sausage was tender and delicious. The beans blew a little, but had large amounts of pork. Broccoli salad was delicious. Fast friendly service makes it welcoming. It has been a month since our last visit and today was very disappointing. The brisket and sausage was great, but I found eggshells in the potato salad and the potato pieces were so big that they simply lubricated like boiled potatoes. The pineapples in the fruit salad were brown. I'm sure this was a rare occasion and next time it gets better. Great grill and super service. I recommend beef sausage, it is extremely good! We get the 2 meat plate that comes with 2 sides and Texas toast. It's a lot of food, usually we have leftovers. Every time we come, the staff are really friendly! You answer questions and jokes with us.
I love eating at Pok-E-Jo's. It is always delicious and very consistent. The service has always been very good. You'll come to lunch so early during the week.
Food is always fresh and delicious! Customer service is great and friendly every time. No bad experience. The Jalapeño Cornbread is also the best!
The food was good but it was a bit over priced. I?ve had barbecue that was better and cheaper. But the sides were delicious! I loved that there was variety of toppings to put and drinks! There was different types of pickles so I was HAPPY. The employees were so friendly and helpful.
We ordered the meat combo.The pork ribs were really tasty. Beef brisket was little hard but sides were delicious. Reasonable price and good quantity.
