"I ordered the steak meal, which came covered with a fat piece of meat and over boiled small burned kartomas with too much rosmarin. about half through the meal the waitress came by to ask if we enjoy our eating (as they do). I was honest about it and she apologised and asked if I wanted a new steak, so I said yes. She took my plate away and about 5 minutes later came the manager with the plate and said I had eaten too much of it, so they wouldn't replace it. at this time my meal had been passed through the restaurant by the waitress, chef and manager before she returned to me and it was also cold. please do not have their waiting personal offer a meal and then refuse it. I just finished what I had. but not after my meal had made a sauce of the restaurant, so I was no longer interested and left the place still hungry. the meal was much too expensive for what it was and due to this terrible service I will not be back."

"The cost of every dining experience Is relative to the level of enjoyment you derive from it. Bistro La Provence is an absolute delight. The hospitality is exceptional; the dishes are sublime- perfectly prepared and presented. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable- perfect for a leisurely lunch. The escargots are possibly the best to be tasted anywhere. None of the dishes could be faulted and the service from Lindsey was exemplary."

"4.0 Very Good We got in early (like real early 5:15pm) and it was already bustling. Seating is mostly outdoors which we didn’t mind as it was quite humid. Table was a bit sticky so I guess they could do a proper wipedown before each seating. We knocked down a pint or two of some local IPA before deciding to order some food. We were allocated a seating bracket of 90 minutes which was fine for us given the type of quick burger and beer arrangement they were going for. We got a burger each, I had their southern fried chicken burger which was properly seasoned with a bit of mildness to it. "Dined for lunch before watching the Top Dog festival at nearby Astor theatre. We shared the fried chicken wings, betel leaf lamb, pork prawn spring rolls shaking beef. All the food was well presented tasty with good flavours. Our waiter was friendly. Will return to try other menu items."
