"We were told about this restaurant and so we decided to try it. We did not have a booking we had arrived and the lovely lady at the door quickly checked if they could find us a seat which lucky for us they did. The waitress offered us a table in a room by ourselves, which was great because we enjoyed the privacy. It was a Thursday night, and we were told the chef prepares a special starter, Duck Richelieu Pate In Pastry Crust, which he is famous for, which I can tell you was amazing! We were also offered another specialty, Petit Nanteux, which was delicious!. We ended up with the €56 tasting menu, and it was phenomenal. The meal was perfect. Service was spot on, and the evening overall was lovely. Thank you for making our evening special."

"We had a very nice meal at Le Chateaubriant. We had one set menu (fantastic veal risotto and an OK sirloin) and one a la carte (escargots, delicious buttery and garlicy as to be expected! and one boeuf which was superb). We sat outside because...the decor inside looked a little gloomy and the weather was nice. The staff were very very good. Would definitely go back if i want a hearty Burgundy meal!"
