pay attention to the skala tamper. I bought a lot of sweets, dread and taffy and was happy to pay when I noticed that a bag leaned on the scale. I just thought it was an honest mistake until I pointed out and they pretended they didn't understand English. "Fantastic food! Great location! Such a nice place to sit and eat lunch. Beatuiful views from the outdoor seating. Service was good. A little over the top though. Almost every 2 minutes we had someone coming around to make sure everything was ok. Was non stop. Grateful for the good service but was a bit too much."

"Descanso Beach is a true paradise. We spent the entire day in a cabana, and it was pure bliss. The waiter was kind and professional, ensuring our experience was top-notch. The food and drinks were fantastic, perfectly complementing the dreamy Caribbean-like ambiance. It's hard to believe such a heavenly spot is just a one-hour boat ride away from Los Angeles. Highly recommended for a tropical escape!"

"Great food, great service, allowed my girl and I to split the bill. Had the Catalina plate with the Steak, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. The food was so mouth watering and delicious. My other had a salmon and loved it. IF YOU COME TO CATALINA GO HERE! The server was so polite, we came just before the closing hour and left around dark. We were offered a courtesy ride back to Avalon, but we decline it because we had brought our bikes. So polite that they would offer."

"The food is good 10/10 after undergoing triple heart bypass surgery and ending the paperwork from a messy divorce I’ve found a new partner she is perfect in every way and I’m really happy with her she’s my soulmate I’m fully convinced she is I brought her to this place after my triple heart bypass surgery for some fries My face lit up when I found they have a burrito with fries in it the burrito has inspired me and given me the confidence to propose to the love of my life tonight at the green pier the fries here does wonders and now because of the burritos my future wife and I will have a very good life together"
