"First of all, this was labor day evening. We had a 25 minute wait, which was fine. The service was very slow, labor shortage maybe. Clam chowder was disappointing as it was a bit overpowered by bacon and clams under represented. Clams casino were also disappointing, lots of bread crumbs, couldn't find bacon, onion, or bell pepper represented. "We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"4. July weekend itself and 3 others went to the fish factory. We appeared about 45 minutes before closing and were informed that there was a party of 19 before us, we expected that we were turned away, but were assured that we were served and had no reason to go. The group ordered apps and 8lbs snow crabs that were all amazing. The service matched the food as we took care of us and never felt rushed. Will be 100% back for more fresh seafood."
