"The food was good, however the service was so awful, the waiters were very offensive and were annoyed when we asked for sauce for the second time because it was not spicy, he almost threw the stuff on the table. The other waiter also came to table 10 minutes before closing and warned us in a very offensive and rude manner that they would close on 14:30. I hope this comment find the owner because it’s a shame for such a good food to be served by very poor service."

"We visited aveiro after recommending our Lisbon guide on the way to porto and found this restaurant accidentally as it was near our parking lot. we have been in portugal for 4 days and it was our first real home cooking. we ordered a cod, chicken with rice and makrele fish dishes. first, the portions are huge, so take them 1/2 portion, since it is an option. for 2 persons is a part more than enough. secondly, even if the portions are large, the eating is very delicious. it is really a house cooking meal. we finished with coffee cake and roasted apple. both are supposed to die. Finally, the owner is so great and accommodating. we came at 2.50 a.m. and let us go through even though she was in front of him, and his witness was already eating and ready to go. Beyond that, we never tried Cod-Schnell before and owners brought us a taste. they will not be disappointed when they visit this place."
