This was one of the few bad experiences we had during our trip to France. Eating was terrible, and waiting staff was more than rude. They were visibly irritated by us and asked for butter with our bread. (of course not usual for lunch or dinner) He told us he kept saying. No, then he gave us 1 tiny butter. In pleasant weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. A counter with the ability to sit down is available.
