Had lunch at a place in the main square of Villenueve Les Avignon called La Java du Papilles.
On a hot day this frozen treat shop was a great find. The staff was helpful, the frozen snack tasty and the price reasonable.

"Our evening meal was not pleasant in look and taste and no Michelin Star calf. the aromen were overwhelming, like fish and garlic, and some ingredients were not fresh. What about the cracked pfeffer in the brotbutter? the sommelier recommended us an expensive wein and it was not as he described. this made an expensive and disappointing meal."

"Very friendly staff, I had a great time there with my girlfriend. The restaurant is located in a quiet side street in Avignon. It's quite new and well decorated, and the food is really good at a surprisingly decent price, although the menu isn't big. We had a very enjoyable experience, definitely worth it."

"A 13h15 ce lundi une clientèle locale en majorité professionnelle achève son repas à notre arrivée dans ce spacieux restaurant quasi plein à la très petite devanture. Nous prenons le menu du jour à 11€90 le plat +3€ le dessert. La qualité des plats est indéniable. Un féculent et une salade accompagnent les mignon de porc, rougets et bavettes. Le tout est gouteux et servi en bonne quantité . Pas de faute pour ce lunch avec des boissons dans la norme (2,90 pour 1 diabolo, 3,2 pour une bière pression et 3,5 pour le 1/4 de vin). Excellent dessert au caramel beurre salé (3 €) avec 1 rapport qualité/prix largement supérieur au café gourmand de la carte "normale" à 6.9€. Le rapport qualité/ prix diminue à mon avis avec le menu "normal" à 30€ même si les plats sont plus copieux. A recommander pour la formule du midi en terrasse ombragée ou en intérieur correctement climatisé. Suggestion : publiez votre menu du jour sur votre site!"

"Dear Villeneuve-lez-Avignons glacier, Your ice creams are the best there is in the world!!! I am the Belgian who came to your house at the end of October with 3 other people. I remember you well. You were supposed to close, but since we were talking, you didn't close. And then we started talking about fries, chicory, etc. But in conclusion: I have never eaten such good ice cream and I have never met such a generous and kind merchant!!
