"I have admiration for what they are trying to do here, combine asiatic flavours with spanish ingredients but sadly it didn’t work for me. The flavours are confused, our starter scallop dish had indian flavours, our bao buns were Asian, then my crab dish tasted Mexican in parts and my partners hare dish wasn’t Asian either. I think this restaurant needs to just stick to Asian flavours if that is how they are advertising themselves. They seem very passionate about what they are doing here but it definitely seems more of a work in progress than than the finished article. The bao buns were very doughy and plain and my crab dish came with nothing to balance it out, I had to ask for some salad to go with it. Also the fish goujons on top of my crab dish had a weird coating on like cheese instead of having a nice crispy coating. Nothing was awful here, but nothing quite worked either. Also I found the hostess a little overbearing, I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but she didn’t give us the space to make our own decisions about what we wanted to have and practically decided for us what we were having! I wouldn’t rush to eat here again as it is too much of a fusion-confusion at the moment."
