What Serse Barbieri likes about La Vecchia Fontana:
For authentic home Sicilian food this is a must. AVOLA isn’t really a touristy destination so most places are authentic but this off the beaten track restaurant is superb. We have the Ricotta Ravioli in Pork Sauce, which I’m reliably told is a Sunday tradition in the area. It was delicious and well recommended View all feedback.

We arrived at this restaurant and asked if we could pay card. We were told we could so we found a table, we then waited 20 minutes and no one came to take our order so my husband went to the bit we had been told was takeaways only.
