Contribute FeedbackFor those seeking purist culinary experiences, Cave Restaurant offers a unique dining experience. With prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person, the food is good but could use more flavor variety. Amidst mixed reviews on service, patrons have raved about the Grilled Octopus and Chorizo, Grass Fed Beef Sliders, and more. While some found the limited menu and management issues disappointing, others praised the establishment for its exceptional food, gluten-free options, and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Cave's focus on clean, healthy food has left a lasting impression on many, making it a must-try dining destination.
Just come from Covid Indoor Restaurant Reticence. I ordered a salad and the fillet Mignon. Salad was green, walnuts and a spicy dress....quite good. Filet has arrived.....a HUGE plate with herbal butter melting up, perfectly boiled and embedded on a bed of embellished spinach. A can container of truffle barrels contains. Well, I had a lot of fm... and I'm doing a fucking decent file myself. But that was, outside the chain Fabulous... no joke, the BEST file I've ever had. And I've eaten NYC's best restaurants for years. And the truffleries, OMG, shoot me now. The perfect amount of truffles does not overwhelm, but improve. No, I don't work for the cave. No personal friend of the cook. (Last time I was pre-pandemic there and they were advertising as paleo. They also take everything on their menu. Run, don't run. That's good. Really.
Eat well done at temperatures. There's a great cook. Couple of ingredients do not make sense, but cave is definitely worth the trip.
Got to try American Wagyu beef for the first time and it did not disappoint! It was cooked perfectly. The soups are always on point and the nut butter brownie was to die for!
Staff, Food all incredible. It’s our go to spot on the shore.
Great food, great service, quality produce served with great ingredients. Very knowledgable service.
