What Grecia Gracias doesn't like about The Pasta Factory:
Come with patience and an open mind on what you?d like to eat. Not everything in the menu is available but their staff is honest about it. Dinning area was cold, not sure if their A/C was off? I?d have to try it another day during a different time of day, hopefully they review these comments for improvements. View all feedback.
First time here, a bit far for us coming from central Phoenix, but worth it. We went with three friends and their children. Total of 8 of us. Very accommodating staff. Friendly too. Food was very good. Apps were my least favorite, the main entrees were very good, we ordered the lobster ravioli, lasagne, butternut squash raviolis, and Caesar salads all very well portioned and at reasonable price. We will definitely return. Kid-friendliness: Super accommodating and friendly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Caesar Salad, Lasagna, Nuoses Chicken Parmigiana
When we first walked in, I thought there were only a few seats. They walked us back and it turns out there's another room in the back. We ordered an appetizer (Caprese) because my husband was really hungry. It was what you'd expect. We didn't realize that bread would be coming too, so I was already full by the time the food came out. I ordered the eggplant parmesan with a side salad. They only have two choices for dressing. I'm in love with a great eggplant parmesan, but it seems that not many restaurants make it the way I like it. Maybe I'm an eggplant snob. This eggplant was pan fried, and luckily wasn't swimming in oil when it came out. The thickness was better than other restaurants. It had the skin on, which makes it difficult to cut through with the butter knife they give you. The pasta wasn't made fresh (it was dried pasta), but it was cooked the right amount of time, so that's something. The sauce was okay. My impression of the food was so-so. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great. It was right in the middle. But my husband really liked his dish, so I guess it just goes to show you that different people prefer different things, and what I consider to be just okay, others consider great. So don't take my word for it! Go check it out and you may love it. And maybe I'll go back and try something different next time. They do have a variety of vegetarian dishes on the menu. Vegetarian options: You have to look around the menu to find the vegetarian items. They have a few items to choose from. We ordered take out and it a pretty small portion for both of our plates especially for the price. Not sure if it is different dine in. Also the taste was very bland. Was looking forward to having a yummy place nearby but was not worth the money. Food: 1
