"This a take-away with a few tables for those who want to eat straightaway and mainly patronised by the student population - it is only open at lunch time on week days. The food is a hybrid between Vietnamese and Chinese styles and not bad at all and I go there a couple of times a month when I need something quick for lunch."

"Absolutely packed by locals and loved by tourists. Typical dishes for this area. NB! Swiss Germans please remember not to ask for Rösti as this is the French-speaking side of the Röstigraben. Röstigraben is a humorous term used to refer to the cultural boundary between German-speaking and French-speaking parts of Switzerland. The food was good but by no means exceptional. The service could be better but the ladies are under a lot of pressure and it appears there are not enough waiters. Yes, I would recommend Le Fribourgeois, simply for it's authenticity and local feel."
