Great food, went out of the way to accommodate food allergies. Delicious food! Wish we lived closer. Next trip out that way it is a must stop on our list!

Love the food! Staff is also very friendly. Barb made sure everything was to my liking. Will be back

only days closed are monday and tuesday. the waitress, barb, is lovely. she's friendly. good old fashioned home cooked meals. the kids loves the chicken chimich...

My husband raves about the delicious mexican style food, freshly made. Homemade desserts and even their own jam. I like the fresh soups and daily specials.

"Went today with wife and friends, I've never have been so disappointed. Ordered a Rueben, the meat what little there was was mostly fat, and I had to ask the waitress where the sauerkraut was and she pointed to some smear on the bread. If I had complained right then and there I might not have been very polite and the waitress didn't need that."

"This cafe is aptly named- it is country charming with lots of wood,roosters and Tiffany lamps. It has only 12 tables. The service is friendly but a tad slow.There was some chatting with regular customers and amongst the staff. Not a problem unless you're in a hurry. I suspect the kitchen is best at breakfast items. My charm cheddar omelet with ham,green peppers and onions was tasty and oozing with melted cheddar. It came with home fries and rye toast. Hubby said his baby beef liver was very tender.It came with 2 scoops of mashed potato and VERY dark gravy. He got my cole slaw and had to ask for his side of veggies which were then delivered in a ramekin. I like the fact they offer "light fare" in 2 portion sizes for smaller appetites.This is also a more economical choice for some. They accept cash only and say it is so they can keep their prices low. The seniors' liver and onions and my omelet lunch special were each just under $10 which is about average most places so I'm not sure the cash only policy has much effect. It is a charming little spot for some country style cooking."

"This was a special family gathering (7 in all) and it was so great to finally be together. We just relocated to London so just a nice drive from here. Laurel was our server and did an excellent job. Generous servings of hot meals were...enjoyed by all. My grandparents actually ran the diner when it was mainly a service station of course, many years ago. A great time was had by all. We'll definitely return."

"A great lunch out with gal pals. The menu hasn't really changed drastically since I've been coming over the last 25 years, the soups, sandwiches, deserts, crepes and salads are still the best things to order.It's a small quiet cottage dining room perfect for adults looking to have a relaxing meal. After you're finished eating you can go check out the hand made pottery which the residence is known for. Or go take a stroll to the Potter's house by the pond near by.I'd recommend this for adults only since it's a quiet place that's small and has breakable pottery. Plus there's no real kids menu or anything for them to do. It's not suitable for rambunctious kids and since it's especially popular with the elderlyKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly"

"Been in on 2 seperate occasions in the last 2 weeks and both times there machine was not working for paying with a gift card. Gets pretty disappointing having a giftcard but being forced to pay out of pocket( defeats having a giftcard). May have to use giftcard in london ontario. The blizzards are usually pretty decent, sometimes not mixed enough though. Have had to return a couple peanut buster parfaits in the past couple years too if they use the peanuts at the bottom of there container as your ice cream will just taste like pure salt . Do better st thomas dairy queen."
