La Gigas - Aytré

Based on the average review of 4.1, the La Gigas is definitely worth a visit.

What Roypee likes about La Gigas:
Plain and simple. Wooden benches and tables in the open air right next to the sea at Aytré near La Rochelle' seaside area of Les Minimes. Not much choice but what they do they do well. The moules come in the house sauce which has 14 ingredients and is a family secret recipe for four generations now. They produce their own oysters and offer excellent crevettes roses prawns). We thought we were eating good mussels, but it was so loaded with aromatic plants that we couldn't even appreciate the mussels. Otherwise very pleasant place and proper service. View all feedback.
