Great place to visit for a good quality Sunday Lunch. We had three courses and the menu changes with the seasons. The chef and staff can not do enough for you and cater excellently for people with food allergy's. We visited yesterday with 4 children (ages 1-9) and the menu is suitable for young and old. We went at a very quiet time on a Sunday so had the reduced menu. We were quick to make our order however they were very slow with food and drinks. The waitress was unsure of the menu and what the meals consisted of, when she asked a colleague, they were rude and dismissive. When we were waiting, we were asked what we were waiting for? stayed for one night at this hotel and had dinner there, nothing to get excited about in fact quite bland, wouldnt bother again
I ordered the slow cooked shoulder of beef but it was more like quick cooked cheap cut of chewy old bull.

The local has an area where one can consume at tables, and for the littlest guests, there is a high chair. If the weather are right, you can also have something to eat outside, and there's a counter where you can sit down and enjoy.
