"My little girl had her birthday party here today, and I can’t recommend it enough. We came for The Beauty and The Beast afternoon tea and wow it was amazing! So much time had been taken to plan even the smallest of details, if you are looking for somewhere to have a party like nothing you’ve been to before, then this is the venue for you. Thank you so much for having us all x"

"Midweek at 5 pm, pub was quiet but not empty, food was great, hot, good size portions, we had chicken strips and Calamari to start with. Next steak ale pie also wild venison pie. Both were fantastic, tasty, hot, and very filling so much so we couldn't eat dessert, staff helpful, happy and very polite, very nice place to have a meal, if you get the chance give them a visit. Price per person: £30–40"

My Father had the fish and chips, and it was simply too much for him to finish. Also delicious with a huge, crispy, fresh piece of cod. It's been a while since I was last here, and I gather they are under new management, but boy are they doing something right. My only tiny issue both tables in the room were complaining it was a little chilly (and it's only November so I wonder what it'll be like later on in the winter..."
