"I am obsessed with Steak Sandwiches since trying them throughout Tasmania. We stopped at Babinda on a Saturday and the only place offering food was the Cafe On Munro. We ordered the Steak Sandwich and although it took them a little longer than normal to bring, the sandwich had an excellent balance of flavours. The meat was tender and the guava juice I had were the perfect combination. A nice place to stop by."

"What a fantastic tavern. One of the best managed and greatest value bars we have visited. Terri and her partner took over this pub a few years ago and they have done an amazing job with turning it around into the popular and profitable tavern it is today. We couldn't believe it when we saw most pints are only $5 each and that is all day every day. Then to top that off, they even had Somersby cider on tap for $5 a pint as well. How good is that. So we settled in for the afternoon to drink cider and play games of pool, only to find out that the pool table is free to play too. No wonder this bar is full of happy, helpful and friendly locals. So we sat there chatting to Terri and the locals for ages and had a ball. Loved the place and will definitely be back for a feed next time as everyone says the pizzas and food are great too. A must visit if you are in the area."
