"3 weeks buying wine and eating good food in Bordeaux and the Loire. Staying near Dieppe we had our last night’s dinner before getting the ferry home. What a way to finish the holiday. A great chef cooking really good food served by friendly competent...staff. An interesting, well priced wine list with a significant number of half bottles was another plus. Best meal of the holiday say no more."

We've a flat in Dieppe and have a special night out once or twice a year at Le Pollet and are never disappointed. Yes, one waitress usually, so don't get up on your high horse about "slow" service. This is a restaurant for fish and sea food, though there is usually one meat dish. It's such a cute little restaurant with a warm welcome and very tasty food."
