"3 weeks buying wine and eating good food in Bordeaux and the Loire. Staying near Dieppe we had our last night’s dinner before getting the ferry home. What a way to finish the holiday. A great chef cooking really good food served by friendly competent...staff. An interesting, well priced wine list with a significant number of half bottles was another plus. Best meal of the holiday say no more."

"Le Bistrot du Pollet has room for only about 25 to 30 people. Do reserve. And choose from the day's specials as they will be fresh from the sea. We've a flat in Dieppe and have a special night out once or twice a year at Le Pollet and are never disappointed. Yes, one waitress usually, so don't get up on your high horse about "slow" service. This is a restaurant for fish and sea food, though there is usually one meat dish. It's such a cute little restaurant with a warm welcome and very tasty food."
