My husband and I visited the Alte Shemiede on a recent visit to Bad Oberdorf. The restaurant serves traditional southern German dishes, which are very meat heavy, though as a vegetarian, I was able to get an excellent meal. The hotel was in a nice location, however for the cost of the room it was not up to par. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, beds were noisy and for someone bigger too small. The breakfast was included and ok (coffee...was great). However it was the only hotel available at a short notice. read more.
