Great hosts, food and drinks from the Allerfeinsten, we look forward to a reunion at some point! "I've been eating in this restaurant for around years. Chefs and management have changed but the food remains class. The restaurant is very busy lunchtime and early evening, so if your going best to book. The menu is in German but the staff...will help if your struggling. On the subject of staff they worked very hard in this busy establishment but always took time to make sure we were looked after. During quieter times they were happy to talk to us. Lovely people indeed"

"We were walking in Bad Hindelang in autumn and passed the Cafe Polite by chance at the descent from the mountain. Very delicious food, beautiful premises, great views of the opposite mountains, and very friendly and welcoming service. Absolutely recommended!"

"Die angepriesene "geheime" Würzmischung verdirbt einem Schwaben schon ausserordentlich den Geschmack wenn der penetrante Currygeschmack des Schnitzels sich nicht wirklich mit den Spätzle und den Pfifferlingen verbinden will.Die Gewürzmischung wäre was für Schnitzel Bombay, aber auch nur für dieses. Schnitzel waren platter als die Panade, meines hatte durchgehend Sehnen und war fast eine Schuhsohle.Müssen wir nicht mehr haben."
