"The cafe is located at the north side of Bad Hofgastein where the location can be also reached by walking upto the hill. There is an amazing view where you can also get a little bit warm with sunbathing.The menu includes local desert tastes and typical coffee selections. I recommend to the couples without children for a silent break."

"If you stay in Bad Hofgastein you must visit this place.The food is authentic and very well cooked, with a taste of a chef restaurant and the prices of a local one.I had the deer ragout and it was delicious.Would definitely like to go back and try their other dishes."

"Ottimo kebap turco in zona centralissima a bad hofgastein. Da anni pernottiamo nella ferienhouse di fronte e spesso ci serviamo con il take away. Ottimo anche il falaffel. Molto frequentato nella stagione araba di fine luglio...."

"We stopped here on our way up the waterfall walk, and were not disappointed. The cafe is set slightly above the town and has beautiful views over the town and valley. Having read previous reviews, we ordered the Heidelbeertopfenstrudel and Heidelbeermilch. It was perhaps the best Topfenstrudel we 've ever had. Each piece was absolutely huge and could easily have fed 2 people, and it only cost 2,70€. The Heidelbeermilch was also great. The only disappointment was the radio playing Austrian 'pop ' music out on the terrace, which kind of spoiled the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely visit again."

"My husband, daughter and mother ordered ice cream at the café. When I got in with my two boys, the lady at the counter said, in a very rude manner, that we couldn't eat inside because my boys were eating ice cream from another shop....I thought this was really unkind and left immediately. This is not the kind of treatment you expect in a tourist place. People at Bad Gastein are friendly and the service is superb but this café is a big disappointment."

"Überraschend leckere und originelle Küche. Gute Weine. Preise sind angemessen. Draußen schöner Ausblick. Personal ist höflich, aber nicht wirklich freundlich. Leider kamen die einzelnen Gänge etwas zu flott hintereinander."
