Very good pizza. In addition, the pizza is still 28 cm tall (even if I prefer 30) which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare in the meantime. There are those still, so always spontaneously, when it is on the way. View all feedback.
Our hotel host told us to pick between the father and son restaurants that were side by side. We were early and that was a good thing as the place got busy quickly. We had rotini and lasagna and they were both good. The pizzas...going by and the number of locals coming in to pick up their pizza made it clear that they produce good pizza too. Ownerstaff were friendly and fun. There was lots of stuff to look at and wonder about. Not that it takes long to get your meal
Lovely Italian restaurant, with an outstanding decoration! Warm style, very warm owners, good and affordable food. What else you expect?! I highly recommend to make a stop there
Our friends who lived in Oberursel brought us here to this pizzeria on a cloudy Friday on June It's one of their regular joints. It's a quirkly restaurant filled with all kinds of antiques, and you have to queue up to order your...pizza. It is a great family restaurant with good Italian food a nice break from German food. Good bathrooms and free wifi as well
Awesome place, Pizza amazing, atmosphere there is no comparison. Price is great, this place has his charme, you like it or not i did!
We had intended to have an early dinner at 18:15 on a weekday in April, but in this very small place all 6ish tables were taken already. We then decided to order pizza for take-away. The prices of these pizzas is utterly amazing, in comparison to UK prices (the cheapest from €4 up to €9). The choice of vegetarian toppings is okay - though not a reason to make a detour for this place. However, the house specialty - Pizza da Gudio - _is_ truly special: artichokes, garlic, and, you could have guessed it (not!), lettuce and cucumber. Sounds weird, but it works for me.Sadly, the overall pizza taste isn't that great. They seem to use a kind of white-cheesy sauce as their base; instead of simply using tomato sauce, sprinkle cheese on top and then add oregano. I'm not sure why this Pizzeria doesn't believe in this approach, but uses this white-cheesy sauce and tomato puree. Also, it seems that some ingredients are not fresh (e.g. tinned mushrooms). If you don't order take-away, but eat here: it's self-service. You order at the counter, and once your order is ready you collect it from there. You help yourself to cutlery, and a glass... Some people find the interior cosy, "culty" and inspiring - to me it looks like someone tried, many years ago, to put as many different things into a tight space, and let dust settle. You will know whether that's attractive to you, or not.
