We visited this traditional restaurant tonight, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was very friendly, including a brief chat with the chef (and/or owner?). The dishes we had were full of flavour, especially the "Schweinebraten mit Rotkraut und Knödel" (roast pork with red cabbage and dumpling). The meat was so tender, it melted in your mouth. It appears that amongst the patrons were a number of locals a... View all feedback.
What Petra Herbst doesn't like about Bratwurst Glockle:
Reservation was needed. Location is in the middle of the city center. I liked the tables and seating area inside the restaurant. The tables outside are located in front of the restaurant (pedastrian zone). Food is ok, sausages are the favorite dishes of the restaurant,...and I recommend to stay with them. Small, very cozy restaurant with many local and decent meals. very friendly staff. in the guest room they feel like a time machine she has 100 or more 200 years back. spices are great. and our escape. only an aspekt on the negative side...the suppe clear broth with sprouts was much too salty.

We had the sausages with kartoffelsalad. Sausages were good; did not like the kartoffelsalad. but the best part was this young waitress who smiled all the time, no matter how busy she was. very good service.
I was an US Army Officer in the 2nd Squadron 14th Armored Cavalry Regiment stationed in BK in the early 60s. I visited the Bratwurst Glockle weekly if not more often. Local beer on tap, great food in a beautiful restaurant. We always went to...the 2nd floor I returned with my son last year. You can go back. Great food and also wine. The local food is hardy but delicious. I was overjoyed to return with my son Pat Berrigan, Jr. Great place, great memories.
