"Wir haben das "Piccolo Mondo" in Osterode zusammen mit Freunden besucht.Das Restaurant war am Freitagabend gut besucht, wir hatten vorher reserviert. Der Service war freundlich und promt. Die Einrichtung gefiel uns ganz gut, der Geräuschpegel war jedoch störend!Die Bewertung des Essens bemißt sich am nicht gerade günstigen Preis für ein italienisches Restaurant in der Provinz. Grundsätzlich war das Essen gut, muß sich im einzelnen aber auch am Preis messen lassen:Unsere neben dem Tisch zubereiteten Vorspeisen (wir teilten uns pärchenweise jeweils eine Portion "Steak tartare") war ganz in Ordnung, der Geschmack litt jedoch an der übermäßigen Verwendung von Senf, war zudem deutlich zu sauer.Der vor der Hauptspeise gereichte kleine Beilagensalat war wirklich nicht der Rede wert, ziemlich geschmacksneutral!Der Hauptgang (4x verschiedene Steaks, Leber, Saltimbocca alla romana) begeisterte uns jedoch durchaus! Das Fleisch war überaus schmackhaft, leider einmal falsch zubereichtet ("Durch" statt "Medium rare"). Problemlos wurde der Teller zurückgenommen, ein neues Gericht gebracht. Leider natürlich erst, als alle anderen am Tisch bereits gegessen hatten...Die Getränke (Weine) gefielen nur bedingt, die angebotenen Digestive waren hingegen ein Genuß.Grundsätzlich finde ich, daß man (nicht nur hier) auf so manchen Firlefanz auch gut verzichten kann (Zubereitung neben dem Tisch, so daß fortgehende Gäste sich vorbeizwängen müssen. Riesenpfeffermühlen.....)Fazit: gutes Restaurant, klasse Hauptspeisen. Insgesamt ist noch "Luft nach oben"."

"You must have experienced that, after the ascent comes the compensation, magnificent views. The restaurant and the complex are beautifully designed. Staff very nice and open. We felt comfortable."

"We were 5 friends cycling in Harzen and had our dinner on friday night at this place. It was nice enough that we could sit outside under the awning. We arrived around 20:15 and 45 minutes later we got the wine we had ordered (after some rather heavy prompting of the waiter who was clearly in way over his head). At around 21:30 our starters arrived. Momst of it looked and tasted as if it had been recently purchased at the local Lidl supermakret in the Freeze-goods department. The menu did not seem to be very "balkanese" except for the wines which were (and were actually surprisingly good).It turned out to be a very long evening (with a few mix-ups in orders as well) - and to top it of it turned out to be our most expensive meal on the trip."

"Here is a delicious pizza freshly prepared. Price/performance is top. my veggetaria has tasted very well, the ingredients were also great. the service was friendly and also the warttime was not long. that this is the best pizza of claustahl, I like to believe! Why have I not rated this locally excellent? I'm a fan and a trailer of thin pizza floors...but something is always!"
