"My wife and I stayed four nights in Chur. Having reserved at three different restaurants for the first three evenings, we came back to Bar Calanda on the fourth. Bar Calanda provided us with good quality food (and beer) at a very sensible price. On...our first visit the staff were very patient explaining the gluten-free options for my wife which allowed a much faster service on the second occasion. The half-chicken and fries (only available after 6pm) at CHF 24.5 and the Pengai Curry at CHF 27.50 were both excellent."

"When you are looking for traditional restaurants offering local cuisine you may find many good places. What you probably don t find is a place which offers you the comfort to use it as a casual place at high quality food. A young and creatice cuisine which changing menu matching seasonal fish and vegetables is offereing a large range of freshy cooked meals. The wine selection is just as good. "Great hotel, great location and fantastic food. It is on a main road / rail, but there is little traffic after 6pm. We slept very well. Great location to explore the Walensee and Flumserberg region. The surprise was the quality of our dinner. It was excellent and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I can highly recommend."
