Very rude staff. The waitress showed no willingness to accept non-German speaking guests.

We were here with children. Not much room for children. Big deserts. Try ice cream with Kiwi absolute treasure.

Best meal we had in town. Really jolly friendly staff, excellent unfussy food. Beautiful balcony so that you eat, watching the river past

"Ein schöner Abend beginnt im Athos bereits durch das sehr zuvorkommende und aufmerksame Personal. Das Ambiente begeistert durch stilvolle Einrichtung und offene Gastfreundlichkeit. Die Speisen sind allesamt sehr empfehlenswert, egal ob Fisch, Meeresfrüchte oder Fleischgerichte. Mir hat persönlich die Anrichtung als auch der Geschmack der Calamari sehr gut gefallen. Das Athos ist für mich erste Anlaufstelle für einen gelungenen griechischen Abend."

"Ich hatte hier mit einem Motoradkumpel vom 26.08. zum 28.08.2016 übernachtet. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer gemütlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Frühstück ist nicht überwältigend aber ausreichend und frisch, Obst und Gemüse werden gereicht, 3 Fruchtsäfte sind verfügbar. Man kann auch auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Elbe sitzen und Essen.Zum Abendessen werden preiswerte sehr leckere Gerichte gereicht, aber warum ist schon um 21 Uhr Küchenschluss?"

"My boyfriend insisted as he saw it was a bio restaurant, with 'modern international cuisine ', in a 4* hotel. Very nice decor, very elegant, yet unfortunately we had a very bad experience. Dinner for two. I cannot eat paprika nor pepper allergy), so ALL the dishes, including a large portion of the salad bar were out of option, because the sauces were pre prepared with pepper. After two discussions with the chef, the waiter told me that they could prepare some fresh cooked pasta for me the only thing that I could eat of the full menu! : My boyfriend ordered the bio lamb, cooked with a wine which was more of a paprika sauce). He got food poissoned. He started feeling bad already by the time we left the restaurant, and spent the whole evening throwing up. We had to go to the hospital, were he was diagnosed with food poisioning. Might be bad luck, but it was a terrible experience!"
