"Me and my boyfriend visited Marktküche and believe this was the best (vegan dinner we have ever had. The whole experience was outstanding from beginning to the end. The food was extraordinarily tasty and we experienced surprising tastes and sensations in every course. Our whole experience started with the herb butter, which my boyfriend doubted to be vegan (this is how good it was! . We ordered the 6-course menu and believe this was perfect in terms of quantity and experience. We wouldn't go for less courses because the experience is simply too amazing and each additional dish made us incrementally happy. We also had the wine pairing which was perfectly matched to our dishes. Because we are both vegan, it was especially nice to experience a surprise tasting that usually lives from slow-cooked high-quality meat and fish creations. In my opinion, this was even better than any surprise tasting I had before I turned vegan. On a side note, the restaurant is located at the corner of a street and life was busy around us (bikes, people walking , yet, not loud or annoying to the experience. In fact, we especially loved this location and coziness/ relaxed atmosphere it brought us. Similarly, the whole team was extremely friendly and open for a chat. We really enjoyed this uncomplicated, homely atmosphere of such a fancy place, while still following the restaurant etiquette but adjusting to the guests needs. This is a really unique place. This is for all foodies, regardless of their diet!! We will definitely come back when we visit Zurich the next time."

"Have been there already three times and I will definitely go again. Food absolutely top, No matter which starter, main course or desert. Staff very friendly. The food is served perfectly cooked. A must if you are in this area. Just to recommend, do a reservation upfront (no matter if Covid-19 or not)."

"Das Bals ist ein hervorragender Platz für einen kurzen Snack oder Lunch. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und die Kebab Gerichte spitze. Das bedeutet, alle Komponenten vom Fleisch bis zum Brot und den Beilagen. Sehr hohe Qualität und vor allem stimmt auch der Preis. Hunger und wenig Zeit? Bals!"

"On Top of Baden with a nice view. It is a nice walk up but quite steep. But you can take Bus 5 to get there. Very good food service at the usual Swiss prices. Not too loud, so you can have a decent conversation, as well.. Recommended."
