"What can I say, a delightful winery in the historic center of Grosseto, a very dated and beautiful place due to its retro appearance, a brazier always lit at the entrance and an unmistakable Maremma scent. The Fiorentina is recommended, excellent appetizers, the house wine is also very good. The only small point would be to reduce the prices a bit, not for the meat but for the other things, otherwise I highly recommend it. A pizzeria was recently opened right in front of the restaurant which can also act as an additional place in the restaurant, in fact we were asked to sit in the pizzeria to be able to order in peace, which was very welcome and appreciated. Constructive advice: Mark directly on the menu what is not available, I ordered a fillet which they gave me as available and instead it wasn't there I had to change to another dish, for the side dishes we were offered chard and chicory which stood out but on the plate there was it was just the chard these small details can make the difference in getting the 5 stars, in fact in my ratings I take a bit of everything into account. This certainly won't be the reason for me to say that I'm not satisfied, in fact I will gladly return as soon as possible, I also underline the kindness of the staff who welcomed us, finding us accommodation and making us feel at ease straight away. "My lord! The talent in this kitchen is unmatched. We ordered the special a rabbit cooked with who knows what and let me tell you. It was the best thing I have ever had. So delicious, I almost ordered a second! The polenta, the fried squash blossom, the ravioli and the Tuscan bean soup was fantastic!!! I cried when I saw the bill so affordable!!! I almost want to stay an extra day so I can eat again at this incredible restaurant. But tomorrow we bike to Montepulciano. If you stop in Scansano this place is a must and please make reservations. "We are in Grosseto for a week and already we have eaten here twice. It is a charming restaurant full of character! Each visit we got a lovely warm welcome from the lovely young waitress. The Chef and his wife make a great team, he visits the table and explains about the food while his wife looks after the wine. The menu offers a great selection of fish, pastas and meats and there are also specials each evening. Everyone gets a welcome glass of Prosecco to start a wonderful evening. Highly recommend a visit!"
