"Stayed for 6 nights with breakfast, beer, wine and 3 evening meals and the bill was only a tad over 800 euros. Why can we not get sweetbreads in the UK? How come you can dine so well in a modest hotel? The rooms have had a makeover, English is spoken, and it is a pleasure to stay here."

"Very good Michelin star restaurant, in a quiet and beautiful setting. It is very formal service, but very relaxed dress code, which is fine with us. Unfortunately our evening was spoilt by no fault of the restaurant. My wife found a parasitic worm, dead thankfully, in her monkfish, about 4 cm long. Needless to say, we lost our appetite after that. The lady was very apologetic, and did not charge us for coffee. I would think that if I were running a Michelin star restaurant I would be really concerned if a client discovered a wriggly in her food, and do more than just say sorry and knock the coffees off the bill."
